On November 14 2024, the Hotel Association of Greater Montreal (HAGM) unveiled the winners during the 8th Hotelia Gala, presented by Tourisme Montréal. The event was held in one of Tidan’s chic establishments, the Montreal Marriott Château Champlain. Nearly 320 industry leaders, partners and guests of honour were on hand to pay tribute to the excellence and exceptional commitment of the professionals who help make Montreal’s hotel sector shine. At the same time, the Association celebrated its 75th anniversary.
Nearly 70 high-quality nominations were submitted, featuring inspiring career paths, outstanding achievements and passionate employees. Under the chairmanship of the Honourable Liza Frulla, a jury of industry experts selected the 2024 winners.

A Tribute to Mike Yuval and Jack Sofer
A tribute was also paid to our owners Mike Yuval and Jack Sofer in recognition of the Grand Hotelia award they had received in 2023. This award was in recognition of their ongoing contribution to the development of the Greater Montreal hotel industry, as well as their contribution to the tourism industry since 1970.
