We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hotel Revenue Manager to join our Tidan corporate team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing revenue performance, developing pricing strategies, managing yield across multiple hotels, and overseeing online marketing initiatives. Job Summary:
The Hotel Revenue Manager will be responsible for maximizing the revenue potential of several properties under the company’s portfolio. This position requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of revenue management practices, and the ability to make data-driven decisions. In addition to overseeing pricing, forecasting, inventory control, and market analysis, the Revenue Manager will play a key role in managing online marketing initiatives, including OTA (Online Travel Agency) partnerships, to ensure a comprehensive revenue strategy. The goal is to drive profitability through a balance of direct and third-party sales channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Strategy & Pricing: Develop and implement revenue management strategies across all properties. Establish and adjust pricing strategies based on market conditions, competition, and historical data.
- Forecasting & Budgeting: Prepare and update revenue forecasts, budgets, and financial reports for all properties. Track performance against budgeted revenue and profitability goals.
- Inventory Management: Oversee room inventory distribution, including managing rates and availability to maximize occupancy and average daily rate (ADR).
- Market Analysis: Conduct regular competitive analysis, assess market trends, and monitor industry developments to stay ahead of pricing changes and potential market disruptions.
- Online Marketing & OTA Management:
- Oversee and manage online marketing initiatives for all properties, ensuring alignment with revenue goals.
- Develop and optimize strategies for Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), ensuring effective rate parity and maximizing visibility and bookings.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement digital advertising, promotions, and special offers to drive direct bookings and minimize reliance on OTAs.
- Monitor and analyze OTA performance, manage relationships with OTA partners, and optimize campaigns to achieve the best possible ROI.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to align revenue goals and develop strategies for promoting the hotel’s services and offerings.
- Performance Monitoring: Review daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports, identifying key trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Recommend and implement action plans as necessary.
- Customer Segmentation: Analyze customer segments and implement strategies to optimize revenue across different market channels, including direct bookings, OTA, corporate accounts, and group business.
- Technology & Systems Management: Leverage revenue management tools, PMS (Property Management Systems), and CRM systems to gather data, analyze trends, and optimize performance.
- Training & Development: Provide training and guidance to hotel teams on revenue management practices and tools.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in revenue management, with a focus on the hospitality industry. Experience managing multiple properties and overseeing online marketing initiatives is highly desirable.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and financial skills.
- Advanced Computer Skills – Advanced user with thorough understanding of Hotel PMS, CRS, RMS, Channel Management, rate shopping and other industry data provider software. (e.g. Hotello, Opera, Lightspeed, One-Yield, SynXis, Amadeus)
- Experience with OTA platforms (e.g., Booking.com, Expedia) and online marketing tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong knowledge of the hospitality industry, market trends, and competitor pricing strategies.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel between properties, if needed.
- Other: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software.
